Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Macau, a proposal for new 500 patacas by the Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, 1990, includes a previously unseen 500 patacas design printed with UV features, with descriptions of various features of the note design including UV security details, theme of the note and the background. The proposal was given to government officials for approval of the new design which was eventually not adopted.
obverse and reverse designs mounted on card. The official proposal in original folder as is. First time seen in the market. Extremely rare and highly important.
