Peking: 1903 (8 Oct.) red band envelope registered to Paris, the address side with pair of C.I.P. 10c. tied by Peking dated oval with a second strike alongside, Shanghai bilingual c.d.s. and an array of French c.d.s. plus Russian Post Office Shanghai registration label. The reverse with Russian Kitai 10k. (2) tied by very faint postmarks, a superb strike of peking (China) registered handstamp, large "R" in circle, Russian Post Office Shanghai c.d.s. and Shanghai registered handstamp in violet plus small examiner's handstamp; some light soiling, a very good cover, scarce overseas use of a red band envelope
