1919 (25 Mar.) "china" registered envelope, size K (Yang 52) double registered to Tientsin uprated with additional 2c. (2) and 4c. (2) cancelled by type I c.d.s. (Proud D10) and bearing a good strike of the rare boxed "R/swatow.b.p.o./no." registration handstamp plus a superb strike of the solid frame "AR" with champhered corners. A few small age faults but with the original letter and business card. Webb's scarcity guide records ten or less of the registration handstamp and the "AR" mark is a great rarity. Photo
