Incoming Mail: 1938 (20 Feb.) G.B. K.G.V 1½d. stationery envelope cancelled by Newport Monmouthshire machine postmark, addressed to A. Phillips, G.P.O., Tibet; there is an air mail cachet, boxed "retour" and unframed "Undelivered for reasons stated/to be returned to sender/at the address shown on the cover" struck in deep carmine; the reverse with two part strikes of Gyantse type B5 c.d.s. for (6.3) and (13.3), two Bombay and two Calcutta square "D.L.O." datestamps along with boxed "inconnu/not known" with some manuscript notation including, "No such person known in Tibet". Colourful but philatelic
