1909-18 a group of large printed Connell envelopes (3) and fronts (3) to Seattle which includes 1909 envelope registered bearing 1903-08 Washington 2c. scarlet (9) tied by the type III registered oval with large "R.D." in oval struck in purple and the later type of four-line registration datestamp (some lower case letters) also in purple; 1918 envelope registered bearing Washington 1c. green and Franklin 10c. yellow (3) tied by strikes of the type III registered oval with "R.D." in centre struck in black, with the manuscript number in registered handstamp in purple with 12c. Red Cross charity label and boxed "P.B.C." handstamp; 1918 opened-our cover bearing Washington 3c. purple (2) with Franklin 10c. yellow (3) tied by type XII duplex; the fronts with 1904 (?) bearing Washington 2c. (2) tied by a good strike of the type VIa duplex, underpaid with 4c. tax handstamp and Postage Dues applied, 1909 bearing 1903-08 4c. orange-brown tied by a fine strike of the type VI duplex, 1918 bearing Washington 1c. green and 5c. blue block of four tied by type XII duplex. Condition is a little mixed; a good selection. (6 items)
