Hartwell in Zumbrota, Minnesota, U.S.A. bearing a fine strike of the large double-circle "imperial japanese postal agency/foochow/china" postmark struck in purple, the card is cancelled by "i.j. postal agency/shanghai" type 1 c.d.s. (30.11) and Yokohama transit (8.12). The card is a little worn at the edges. A fine example of this very scarce postmark, approximately ten recorded. Photo
