Tongku: 1901 (20 Apr.) printed envelope addressed to Major Browne, Tientsin (in charge of the railway) and bearing C.E.F. ½a. tied by a good strike of F.P.O. No.15 c.d.s. (showing "00" for "20" error in date) and the B.R.A. 5c. on ½c. (broken "s" variety) tied by "railway post office/tongku" postmark. A fresh cover being used on the first day of issue of the 5c. surcharge as well as the first day this F.P.O. postmark was employed on the T.P.O. section between Tientsin and Hanku. Photo
