Small Figures: 2c. on 3c. red in a block of four from an unknown setting [9-6/5-20], [20] shows some weakness of the characters with the centre character from the lower row virtually missing, part original gum; a few split and reinforced perforations. An intriguing block which is ideal for further specialist study and discussion. Photo

Note: it is not always easy to be certain of positions on single stamps, in this block, [9] shows raised stop, [6] shows the bars each side of cheng, [5] shows comma for dot and narrow fen, [20] showa raised stop. The top right stamp appear to show the scratch under "A" associated with sheet position [79].
