Bank of China, Hong Kong, $1000 (2), 1.7.2003, FANCY SERIAL NUMBERS AY000001, AY1000000, (Pick 339a), both PMG 67EPQ. Generally any high denomination fancy serial number notes are rare, with of course the $1000 being the pinnacle. As well as the high denomination, HK no longer issue 1 million serial number notes as well as being able to unite this first and last note makes this lot truly special! With the final touch of both notes getting 67EPQ grade, there is truly nothing more a serious fancy serial number collector could want! (2)
