1899 (10 Mar.) envelope to J. Dupree at I.M. Customs, Chefoo bearing 5c. yellowish green (type 6) with C.I.P. 1c. yellow-ochre tied by Chefoo Dollar chop; the envelope has been roughly opened and is a little ragged at top. Used on the latest recorded date for the second issue, the service became redundant when the Chinese Post Office opened on 15th March. A rare cover and scarce local use. Photo
