1943 stampless envelope written from Canada to Shanghai cancelled Ottawa 'Aug 17 1943' with 'Opened by Examiner DB 556' label applied in Canada and circular 'Chapei Teki Kokujin Shuden Seikatsusho' date stamp in blue on face. Very few known items from Dutch Prisoner in a Japanese concentration camp in China and very rare cachet reading. (Chapei Enemy Civilian Assembly Centre).
