China, Republic, Hupeh Province, student identification badge of the Wuhan branch of the Chinese Military Academy, Year 18 (1929), numbered 927, the academy is the second branch of the Chinese Military Academy (also known as the Whampoa Military Academy) with Chiang Kai Shek being the headmaster. It was said to have attracted almost 10000 applicants for the first academic year in 1927. A ring is mounted on reverse, small nick, otherwise Extremely Fine or better
