China, Southern & Northern Dynasties, [GBCA 82] bronze cash, 'Tai Huo Liu Zhu', 579, from the Southern Chen Dynasty, 25.3x1.6mm, weighs 4.0g. One 'Tai Huo Liu Zhu' was the equivalent of 10 Wuzhu cash coins despite being the same weight, which proved extremely unpopular and sparked the prophecy of 'Weeping for the Son of Heaven' alluding to the shape of the character 'Liu' as a person crying in despair with hands on his hips amid increasing dissent towards the imperial court
南北朝南陳太貨六銖,25.3x1.6毫米,重4.0克,公博 82,其發行初期規定一枚抵十枚舊五銖錢,後因面值虛高引發民間抵制,錢文「六」字型態被附會為「叉腰哭天子」的諶語,成為百姓對朝廷不滿的象徵
