Frontier Bank, China, a set of 3x specimens, including 1, 5 and 10 yuan, Year 8 (1919), Tientsin, control numbers 000216, 000004, 00011,
(Pick S2535 for 1 yuan, branch unlisted for all 3x notes), all hole punched with ink, balance extremely fine. First issue from the bank when the headquarter was in modern day Ulaan Baatar even though Mongolia has already declared independence in 1911. In 1920, shortly after its establishment in 1919, the Soviet defeated the Chinese army in Ulaan Baatar which caused the bank to relocate its headquarter to Beijing. These were likely never issued due to the turbulent times. Interesting and very rare (3)


民國十九年邊業銀行一組3枚樣票，包括壹圓，伍圓，拾圓，天津地名，控號 000216, 000004, 00011。均有打孔，有墨，EF品相。 邊業銀行的首發系列。雖蒙古國在1911已宣佈獨立，銀行在1919年開設時總部仍然設在現時烏蘭巴托。當蘇聯在1920年打敗民國軍隊後，銀行才把總部搬遷到北京。所以這系列很有可能從沒發行過。非常特別和稀有
