Compared to few other known examples, the serial number range of this particular specimen starts at 000001 and it being dated using the first date of the series, we can confirm this is the specimen proof for the very first 100,000 large size 'seated maiden' note. with its value further enhanced by no visible signs of previous mounting


1927年香港上海匯豐銀行壹佰圓樣票，編號 B000,001-B100,000，PMG 63。1930年是「大聖書」的首發年份，B字軌亦是首發字軌。相較其他「大聖書」樣票的編號範圍及年份，可以確定此票是首100，000枚「大聖書」之樣票，背面沒有黏貼痕跡更是來之不易
