1895 (5 Apr.) red band envelope registered and bearing, on the reverse, ½c. (both), 1c., 2c. and 5c. tied by the scarce double outer lined oval dater in purple, the address side with a good strike of the boxed registered handstamp numbered “17” and large “R” in blue crayon; a couple of minor age marks do not detract from this important cover, possibly only the second recorded bearing this postmark. 1895年4月5日掛號紅條封, 封背貼九江半分票 (两種), 一分, 貳分及五分, 銷少見雙外線橢圓紫色戳. 封正面蓋編号"17"的方框掛號印記. 另有藍色筆大 "R"字. 雖然信封有些老化, 但此封相信為存世两封蓋有此罕有的郵戳之一. 對早期九江郵政史尤為重要.
