1896 (23 Jan.) opened-out envelope to Birmingham, England bearing, on the reverse, a light strike of the Hankow Local Post c.d.s. in violet, Shanghai Local Post transit (26.1) and Birmingham arrival c.d.s. (5.3); the address side with France "Chine" 25c. tied by "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. (27.1) with a second strike alongside; there are a few small repaired tears at top. Fresh and scarce overseas mail. 1896年1月23日經上海法國客郵局寄英國伯明翰破剖封, 封背蓋紫色漢口書信館日戳, 旁蓋1月26日上海中轉戳, 及蓋3月5日伯明翰到達日戳. 信封面貼法國客郵 "Chine" 25 仙票, 銷1月27日上海法國客郵局中轉戳, 旁蓋多一枚相同的郵戳, 信封面曾有少新修補, 罕少及珍貴的漢口寄海外信封.
