1896 (6 Nov.) neat envelope to Shanghai with handstamp of "banque russo-chinoise." and bearing a fair strike of double-framed boxed "PAID" struck in red and, on the reverse, a good strike of Hankow Local Post c.d.s. in red and an indistinct strike of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. with postman's pencil notation. Fresh and fine. This is a very rare handstamp and it is thought that there may be less than five covers recorded and this is particularly desirable being struck in red. Photo


1896年11月6日漢口寄上海公務郵封, 信封面手蓋"BANQUE RUSSO-CHINOISE"(俄中銀行), 左下角蓋紅色方型雙框"PAID"(郵資已付)戳, 封背蓋頗清晰紅色漢口工部日戳, 旁有模糊的的上海工部日戳及郵差鉛筆手寫記事. 品相中上; 這是十分罕見的手蓋紅色"郵資已付"戳郵封, 相信存世應少於五件.
