(Pick 41), PMG 30NET, restoration (previously raised). It was common for contemporary forgers to alter genuine banknotes to higher denomination in the attempt to fool the users. Likely most of Hong Kong's population back in 1920s will not know or have even seen what a $50 or $500 note looks like. Aside from the restoration on denominations, the note has undeniable overall eye appeal. Extremely rare to see examples that comes close to this note with its vivid colour and clear signatures.
