1894 (Meiji 27) a hanging scroll of The Emperor of Japan declared war on the Qing Dynasty. The imperial edict was divided into two types: leaflets and hanging scrolls at that time. The leaflets were for outdoor use, while the hanging scrolls were for indoor use. Size of the edict: 33X107cm
