"A81": 1866 (13 Dec.) blue envelope to Somerset "Via Marseilles" bearing a pair of G.B. 1855-57 4d. plate 7 cancelled by a single strike of the "A81" barred oval, rated "8" and with a fine strike of unframed "exc/oz/deficient postage 2/colony's share of fine 3/5" (Proud UP3) and circular "more/to/pay", the reverse with Hong Kong code "C" despatch, London, Taunton and Ilchester arrival (30.1) c.d.s.; small part of flap missing and light peripheral soiling. "A81" applied on P.& O. 'China'. Rare, very few underpaid covers are known
