1864 (29 Oct.) Buissonnet entire to Nagasaki "Pr Str 'Rona'" bearing pair of 4c. light grey tied by a single strike of the sunburst in black, the flap with a fine strike of the Shanghai despatch in blue and brush stroke delivery characters; light filing folds do not detract from this rare and important cover. Only six covers recorded, this is the earliest and the only bearing the cancellation in black.

This cancellation is only found on mail between Shanghai and Nagasaki or Yokohama before the "S1" obliterator was brought into use in 1866
