1866 (28 June) envelope to Boston "Via Marseilles" bearing a fine strike of "russell & sturgis/manila" company handstamp in black, with 1863-71 18c. lilac strip of three (left stamp with wing margin) cancelled by "B62" in black with rate marks in red crayon and "5/cents" accountancy handstamp, London Paid (18.8) and Boston Paid (31.8) c.d.s., the reverse with faint Hong Kong (28.6) c.d.s.; the top left corner has been repaired. A very scarce and desirable franking. S.G. 13
