"A92": 1865 (Mar.) envelope to New Hampshire, U.S.A. "Overland via Southampton" from Swatow, with manuscript "1/11½" rate mark in red crayon, handstruck "21/cents" in red overstruck by a superb strike of "A82", two strikes of Hong Kong boxed "paid" in red, London (23.6) and Boston Br. Pkt./24 Paid (6.7), the reverse with Hong Kong transit (25.3). From the Wingate correspondence and with letter dated "Swatow, Oct. 9th 1865" from Mary Wingate to her Aunt. Rare use of the numeral handstamp which was used by the postal clerks on the 'Arabia' and 'Asia' and and early cover from Swatow
