1883 (6 Mar.) stout blue envelope registered to Colchester "Via Brindisi" bearing 10c. dull mauve (2) and 30c. mauve (Crown CC) tied by "62B" type B with Hong Kong despatch, "R" in circle in red and a light strike of London registered oval, the reverse with Colchester arrival (10.4) and three red wax seals of the Chartered Mercantile Bank; some light soiling. A good franking paying the 4 ounce letter rate
