1893 (21 Mar.) opened-out red band envelope to Peru with only a Chinese address, the reverse addressed "Peru" by the post office in blue crayon and "T 50c", Hong Kong c.d.s., a fine strike of "T" in circle and receiving oval "multada/16 cts/lima"; the address side with San Francisco transit (15.4), Peru 5c. Postage Due with triangular overprint tied by Lima c.d.s. then forwarded to its final destination Pisco. A most unusual and interesting cover. Holcombe Certificate (1994)
