1900 An old albumen photo. Due to the Boxer Rebellion incident, the German cruiser s.m.s. Hertha was on its way to Beijing for reinforcements and stopped in Hong Kong for rest. Hong Kong antique dealers were invited to sell on the ship, so that officers and soldiers who were not allowed to disembark could buy souvenirs. This photo rarely records the scene at that time.
