1909 (1 Aug.) envelope headed 'Hamburg Amerika Linie/Shanghai' to the Commander of the 'S.M.S. "Scharnhorst" in Tsingtau bearing Russia 3k. And 7k. Cancelled by oval "Parokhod. Obschch. R.V.A.P."d.s. (with serial letter 'ze'), via Shanghai Imperial Post Office, with Shanghai Local Post transit d.s. (14.8) on reverse and 'Tsingtau/ Kiautschou' (17.8) d.s.. stuck twice. Very scarce item from the Russian Steamship Company R.V.A.P., eight different date stamps exist one for eacxh of the ships engaged on the line, identifiable by the serial letter. The Captain of the 'S.M.S. "Scharnhorst' was Admiral Friederich von Ingenhol.


1909年俄國及青島實寄封1件，貼俄國郵票3分7分各一枚，銷俄國8月1日戳，經上海中轉，有上海己酉廿九英漢腰框戳，上海8月14日小圓戳，上海同日工部小圓戳，青島17日德國客郵到達戳，保存完好
