1860 (2 Oct.) envelope to France bearing 40c.(imperf.) with four fine marginstied by "CECB,C" in lozenge, with 'Corps Exp Chine/Bau Central' d.s. adjacent and framed 'PD' h.s., endorsed 'voi Anglaise de Suez' with Paris and Mazeres receiver on reverse. On 8th April 1860, Britain and France declared war on China, French troops already assembled in Hong Kong opened the bureau Central there, at the end of May, the French military Command left for Shanghai and the Bureau Central moved in May/June 1860.
