18c. lilac, pale shade, tied on 1866 (10 Sept.) piece marked "Trento Via Southampton" with 2c., 6c. and 8c. paying the 34c. rate, cancelled/tied by "B62" in black. Each stamp has been partly lifted to show the watermarks. An important piece; Richard Gurevitch records the earliest cover as 29 December 1866.
