Tientsin: 1899 (5 July) envelope to U.S.A. bearing, on the reverse, C.I.P. 10c. cancelled by pa-kua in blue, the address side with a fine strike of bilingual Tientsin despatch in blue with Hong Kong 2c. red (5) alongside cancelled by Shanghai c.d.s. and fine strikes of the type 1 "I.P.O." tieprint (2 adhesived damages, apparently by rodents) with Kobe transit; the reverse with Shanghai bilingual (9.7), Yokohama, San Francisco and Orangeburgh arrival c.d.s.; a little soiled apart from the corner damage. An early date for the Tientsin bilingual c.d.s. which is found in blue during the early period. Photo
