1898 (5 May) red band envelope to Berlin, the address side bears a superb strike of the rare Hangchow Dollar dater with Hong Kong 5c. blue just tied by Shanghai c.d.s. (7.5) with Hong Kong transit (12.5) alongside; the reverse with I.C.P. 10c. deep green tied by neat Hangchow pa-kua with Shanghai Dollar dater (7.5) and Berlin arrival (13.6). There is some minor soiling which does not detract from this important cover. Photo
