1924 (May 1) Pre-printed “Via Aerial Service” Cover to Shanghai, endorsed “Via Newchwang”, franked on front with 1st Airpost 15c and on reverse with 3c Junk, both tied by Moukden cds, Newchwang transit and Shanghai arrival cds on reverse, this flight from Moukden to Newchwang was the first trial flight out of six flights, this route was never established officially, it was believed that the planes left Moukden twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8AM for Newchwang and returned from Newchwang on the same day at 4:30PM, meanwhile, post office would receive mails one day before the flight, the first trial flight being recorded was Friday 2 May 1924, postmarked 1 May 1924.
