FRANCE: 1764 (December) A Royal Government Loan, in repayment of "Rentes sur les Aides & Gabelles" (annuity issued against salt tax revenues), dated 1765, black printing, 4 pages with paper "quittance" (receipt) attached with string as is usual, very fine and a good example of early French Government finance document.
