Southern Rhodesia — 1/- horizontal strip of seven with margin at right, the first stamp with blue-green omitted and the adjoining stamp with slight omission, fine. Very rare. Pierron RH198MCa, £3,500+; S.G. 99a, £3,500+. Photo Estimate £ 1,800-2,200 Note: The missing blue-green results in the loss of the Queen´s head, emeralds and inscription. Examples of the error come from two sheets. Columns two, three and four of one sheet were affected resulting in 18 examples. Columns four and five of a second sheet were similarly affected resulting in a further 12 examples. Partially affected examples missing the Queen´s head only come from the rightmost column of a sheet quantity: 30 mint
