Northern Rhodesia 1963 (10 Dec.) Arms Issue 6d. with value omitted, fine. With normal for comparison. Pierron NR160MCa, £700; S.G. £500. Photo Estimate £ 300-400 Note: Two black ink plates were used for the printing of the stamps; the leftmost plate number relating to the value. Although a complete sheet with the error was discovered, around half were damaged by grease due to the original owner leaving the item with his packed lunch in the rear window shelf of a car. The error is known in a plate pair (normally 1A–1A–1A–1A–1A) missing 1A referencing black (the value) quantity: circa 120 mint (many damaged)
