Photo  Estimate £   400-500    Note: Two gold ink plates were used for the printing of the stamps, the right most plate number relating to the centre detail. In theory the error evaded being detected through at least two quality control checks – at the time of the original printing in 1965 and after being surcharged in 1972. The error is known in a complete sheets and in plate block (normally 1A–1A–1A–1A–1A–1A) both missing 1A referencing gold from the centre of the design
