Malta 1965-70 Issue 3/- complete pane of 60 from Plate 1A/2A with gold (centre) omitted, light horizontal fold, fine. Pierron MA690MCa, £19,500; S.G. 345b, £12,000. Photo Estimate £ 4,000-5,000 Note: Two gold ink plates were used for the printing of the stamps, the right most plate number relating to the centre detail. A complete sheet affected by the error, which occurred on a plate 1A–1A–2A–1A–1A–1A printing, appeared on eBay in November 2007. It formed part of a large Malta collection being sold off in stages via the online auction company. It´s possible it´s the unique discovery sheet as the error isn´t recorded as having previously appeared on the market.
