Malta 1965-70 Issue 1/3d. complete pane of 60 from Plate 1A with gold (centre) omitted, folded horizontally, fine. Pierron MC682MCa, £5,000; S.G. 341a, £3,900 Estimate £ 1,200-1,500 Note: Two gold ink plates were used for the printing of the stamps, the right most plate number relating to the centre detail. The error is known in a complete sheet of 60 and two plate blocks (normally 1A–1A–1A–1A–1A–1A) missing 1A referencing gold (from the centre of the design).
