Jamaica 1964-68 Issue 6d. with PVA gum, a top right corner block of four showing sheet number "031" with blue omitted, fine. Pierron JA447MCa, £600+; S.G. 223a, £320+. Photo Estimate £ 300-400 Note: The missing blue results in subtle colour loss from the wings. The error is known to have occurred on pane number 031. The error on PVA gum can be readily differentiated from the error on gum arabic by the very obvious difference in gum colour – PVA is white while arabic is cream coloured. Further, on the design side, turquoise-green is more prominent on PVA printings whereas pale orange is more prominent on gum arabic printings.
