Lord.), nearly extremely fine (3) Estimate £ 300-350 Second Lieutenant Frank Samuel Lord, born Hornsey, London; served during the Great War as a Private with the 1/28th London Regiment on the Western Front, from 26.10.1914; commissioned into the 2nd Battalion Devonshire Regiment, he died of wounds on the Western Front, 12.3.1915, from the 10th-13th March 1915 Lord´s battalion were engaged in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle; he is buried in Estaires Communal Cemetery, France.
