Robinson.), officially impressed, edge bruising, therefore very fine (2) Estimate £ 500-600 Deputy Controller Henry Robinson, C.B., appointed a Commissary Clerk, Nova Scotia, 1844; commissioned Deputy Assistant Commissary General, 1846; served during the 3rd Kaffir War (1850-53); advanced to Assistant Commissary General, 1856 (C.B. 1858) and served in this capacity in China, November 1859-April 1861; Deputy Commissary General, 1868; upon the formation of the Control Department in January 1870, Robinson was appointed Deputy Controller (ranked with full Colonel).
