Bn: A.C.C.), minor edge bruise, contact marks, nearly very fine Estimate £ 600-800 D.C.M. London Gazette 3.6.1918 13064 Cpl. H. J. Croome, A.C.C. (Gloucester). ´For conspicuous Gallantry and devotion to duty. This N.C.O. rendered conspicuously good service during heavy fighting, lasting some eight days. His duties rendered it necessary for him to move constantly in the open in order to keep touch with the movements of the enemy, during which time he was almost constantly under heavy shell fire.
