x Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate Ib EI, good to large margins and tied by smudged orange-red Maltese Cross on entire letter from the Mid Lothian Coursing Club to Torsonce and redirected, manuscript "above authorised weight, Paid" and with handstruck "2" in blue, the reverse bears 1840 (16 Oct.) Leith and Edinburgh c.d.s. and straight line "stow" in red. The adhesive with horizontal crease, an unusual cover. Photo Estimate £ 150-180
