Cape Verde Islands 1888 (1 May) envelope registered to Geestemünde, Germany, bearing 1877 perf. 12 1/2 50r. green, perf. 13 1/2 10r. yellow (pair) and 1881-85 changed colours perf. 12 1/2 40r. orange-yellow (2) with three blue oval "correio cicade da praia" cancellations, large red on blue registration label, on reverse Lisbon (12 May) and Geestemünde (16 May) transit and arrival datestamps; the envelope and adhesives with some mostly small faults hardly detracting from this stunning multiple "Crown" type franking.
