Niger Coast Protectorate Old Calabar River 1893 (7 Nov.) envelope registered to the Secretary of the German Consulate General, Constantinople, Turkey, bearing 1892-94 1d. lilac pair and 2 1/2d. purple on blue each neatly cancelled with "old calabar river" Code A c.d.s., showing large "R" h.s. at left, Liverpool (11.12) and London (11.12) Registered oval d.s., the reverse with "british post office/constantinople" arrival c.d.s.
