Cheshire Regiment at Belguam, India, bearing 1892-94 1/2d. vermilion pair, 1d. lilac pair and 2d. green and carmine each neatly cancelled with "bonny river" Code C c.d.s. and with a superb strike of the "oil rivers protectorate/bonny" triple-oval d.s. (Sacher Type 7) in violet at lower left corner alongside Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (17.1), the reverse with Sea Post Office (1.2) and Belgaum (date unclear) c.d.s.
