Nigeria Oil Rivers Protectorate 1892 (23 Aug.) envelope via the Canary Islands to Scotland, bearing Great Britain 1887-92 2 1/2d. purple on blue cancelled with fine "oil rivers protectorate/old calabar" triple-oval d.s. (Sacher Type 7, S.G. Type Z1) with a further strike at left alongside "liverpool/ship" c.d.s. (24.9), the reverse with Las Palmas (14.9) and Fauldhouse (26.9) c.d.s.
