Niger Coast The Royal Niger Company´s Territories 1900 (2 July) envelope to England, bearing Northern Nigeria 1900 1/2d. dull mauve and green pair sharing manuscript "Post Office Jebba 2/7/1900" in red ink and each lightly cancelled with "lokoja/post office" double-oval d.s. (Sacher Type 13) for 6 July, the reverse with a further strike of the oval d.s., Forcados River (13.7) and Cambridge (8.8) c.d.s.; the envelope with a few small faults, otherwise fine, attractive and an unusual usage of the old Niger Company handstamp after the formation of the Protectorate.
