Cape Verde Islands 1879 (July) envelope registered to Chiavari, Italy, bearing 1877 perf. 12 1/2 "Crown" type 200r. orange tied by concentric circles cancellation with oval "registada/s.vicente" and red "registered/london" of 18 Jul., on reverse Genoa transit (20 July) and Chiavari arrival (21 July); the envelope with a minor tear at top and the adhesive with a few slightly stained perfs., fine.
